CAPPADOCIA-KONYA-PAMUKKALE-EPHESUS
Day 1 ARRIVEL TO CAPPADOCIA
Flight to Kayseri. Organized transport to a hotel in Cappadocia. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
Day 2 GÖREME - ÜRGÜP
After an early breakfast, head out for a full day tour of the Cappadocia region, where powerful eruptions of the Ercias volcano 3 million years ago formed one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. A visit to the Göreme site, which is set in rocks all over the city, originated during the time of early Christianity, when it was banned and Christians persecuted. Following is a tour of the typical city of this province of Ürgüp. After dinner we suggest (extra charge) a trip to the famous "dervish dance" in an indigenous environment. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 3 PIGEON OF VALLEY - DERINKUYU - UÇHISAR
After breakfast departure across the Valley of the Pigeons in nearby Derinkuyu, an underground city from the early Christian era with a total of 7 floors underground. Then departure to Uçhisar, a castle fort located on the road from Nevsehir to Göreme, on the highest part of Cappadocia. Uçhisar Fortress was a refuge in the past due to its natural architecture, and the interior of the fortress is a labyrinth of passages. After viewing free time until dinner. Possibility to go to a Turkish evening with a rich program (extra charge). Overnight.
Day 4 KONYA
Breakfast and check out from the hotel. Departure to Çatalhöyük, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit the city and through the Karavan-saray, and continue on to Konya. Panoramic tour of Konya and tour of the Mevlana Museum. Hotel accommodation and dinner. Overnight.
Day 5 KONYA - PAMUKKALE
After breakfast check out from Konya and drive to Pamukkale (“Cotton Fortress”), a beautiful white plateau of cotton created by calcium-rich aquatic deposits. Following is a tour of one of the most famous ancient sites in Turkey - Hierapolis, where the remains of the church and the tomb of the Apostle St. Philip, an amphitheater, a cemetery with sarcophagi, and a tour of Pamukkale itself, the “Red Waterfalls,” where warm, healing water springs. Depending on the weather, swimming in the thermal pools is also planned. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 6 PAMUKKALE - EPHESUS - KUŞADASI
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, continue the tour to Ephesus, which stops at the house of the Virgin Mary. On arrival, visit Ephesus - the ancient metropolis, the remains of the Bolshoi Theater, the Odeon, the library, the Roman bath, the agora and the remains of one of the seven wonders of antiquity - the Temple of Artemis and the Basilica of the Apostle St. John and the Hill of Ascension. Continuation of the route to Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 7 KUŞADASI - IZMIR
Breakfast and check out from the hotel. Drive to Izmir, a Mediterranean city and port with almost 3 million inhabitants, panoramic views. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
Day 8 İZMİR
Breakfast. Transfer to airport. Flight from İzmir
